Tractor to the right, horse to the left. Dima and Misha are telling the story of the legendary La Tâche vineyard.
The 5,03 ha vineyard is the monopoly of Domaine Romanée-Conti. It's surrounded by a Grand cru vineyard called La Grande Rue and several Premier cru vineyards like Aux Malconsorts and Les Chaumes. "La Tâche" is French for "a task" or "a chore".
The history of La Tâche, as well as its brand, is tightly interwoven with the nearby vineyards. And so Dima and Misha will answer the burning questions: how much does the wine from these vines cost, what does it taste like, how old should it be before it gets into your glass and how to replant the old vines so that the wine style remains unchanged.
Finally, is drinking alone a good or a bad thing? Misha knows the answer.
